Rexburg, Idaho’s Brick & Mortar Storefront
I became the Creative Director of Love Olive Co. in October 2021. I’ve since learned so much from running the creative department for a major clothing company in Southeastern Idaho. Creative directing is both a technical and a creative job, not only does it require people skills but styling and designing skills. It’s both fulfilling and exciting to create images that sell.

Photoshoots
All images for Love Olive Co. are produced through the photoshoots which were directed by me. I planned out the theme of the photoshoots, I styled outfits together, and I scheduled out models. We had photoshoots once a week to release collections for the following week. We planned out campaigns and collections for our target audience. I’ve traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah and Malibu California for photoshoots as well as working locally.
My Creative Team
The Creative team included the photographer (Allison Quist), Models (Meg Stoker, Ashley Hansen, & Brooklyn Taylor), my assistant (Lenzci Jhalen), & Head of Operations (Natalie Webb).
Behind the Scenes of Creative Directing
My days were filled with brainstorming ideas and making them come to life. Not only was I leading photoshoots but I also took flatlay photos for social media. This video demonstrates just a part of the photoshoots and being at the office, planning, taking flatlay photos, and everything in between.
Flatlays for Ads, Pinterest, & Instagram
Another role I played was as a flatlay photographer. Flatlays are photos taken from a bird’s eye view, usually with the product being perfectly laid out. For Love Olive Co, my biggest goal was to make the garment pieces stand out so that it would encourage shoppers to buy the items.
