LILY AS:
MARKETING MANAGER
MARIAH’S BRIDAL
SCROLL ↓
As the marketing manager for Mariah’s Bridal Rental Boutique I had a blast brainstorming ways to help the business grow with it’s sales, followers, and in it’s community!
Mariah’s Bridal is a small business so I took on many roles related to marketing. These included but were not limited to: Social Media Manager, Website Developer, Graphic Designer, Creative Director, & Photographer (just to name a few).
Below are just some examples of the work I’ve accomplished. I’ve helped Mariah’s social media grow with it’s engagement, reach, impressions, as well as improve & revamp it’s website and content quality.

Here’s a quick screenshot of the social media dashboard when I first started and then after a screen shot of the most recent view of the professional dashboard. This is 4 month worth of progress!
*Note: I completely spaced + did not screenshot the dashboard in the first screenshot to show the reach which at the time was at 4K to now at 288K (rookie mistake) but take my word for it!
Tools I used for Mariah’s Bridal:
Canva (& Canva Brand Guide)
Click-Up
Facebook Business Suite
CapCut
Squarespace
Adobe Lightroom + Illustrator
Social Media Calendar
In order to stay organized I created a social media calendar/planner excel sheet (the power of excel is amazing!). Below show a peek at how this planner looked and how collaborative it was to work on. Each is organized by planned posts, stories and overall look of the IG grid.
I knew starting off that Mariah’s Bridal we would need to revamp their brand guide before I could even start thinking about building the website or making any graphics for social media.
The brand guide would be a solid foundation for creating content & would decrease any misinterpretation for Mariah’s Bridal brand identity. The first photo is the original brand guide I had to start out and below is the new one I created. In the brand guide we identified fonts, color palettes, brand voice, logo variations, and more.
Note, this is only part of the 47 page long brand guide.

Developing the Website
After the brand guide the next steps were to begin to redesign the website. It had been built back in 2020 on Weebly which really limited the UX experience and the design for site. The content in the site was low quality and I knew we could improve showcasing the gowns & our services. Below show the before and the after. You can click on the after photo to go directly to the site. It is also fully mobile friendly.

Let’s Talk Numbers
I will be honest — I’m not a big number’s girl! But I know the value of what understanding and interpreting the numbers and what it can do towards your strategy. Below showcases our monthly analytics deck (this is an older version for the privacy of the business). We go over lowest performing versus our highest perfoming content, talk about audience behaviors, discuss ideas on improving strategy, and so much more! Note: This is not the complete deck.

Creating Quality Content
One of Mariah’s biggest struggles was consistently creating quality content whether it was for the website, for posters, or on social media. So we prioritized creating a routine where we would shoot or film quality content. Much of the time I was the photographer/videographer and editor and these photos were used on the website or as reel covers.
